
ON-RAMP CNY connects individuals to hands-on, partner-led training programs designed to prepare participants for in-demand careers in advanced manufacturing, construction and related fields.
Programs are offered at no cost and supported by coordinated services that help participants succeed in training and employment.












There is no cost to you. Training programs offered through ON-RAMP and its partner organizations are provided at no cost to eligible participants.
Most ON-RAMP training programs are 12 weeks long. Programs are designed to give you the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience you need to prepare for an in-demand career.

Yes. ON-RAMP follows an “earn as you learn” approach. Depending on the program and your eligibility, you may be able to earn up to $20 per hour while completing your training.
Childcare support may be available based on eligibility. ON-RAMP can connect eligible trainees with childcare providers and resources in the area.

Some programs offer evening classes. Weekend training is not currently available.

Regular attendance and active participation are important to your success. You are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and participate fully, whether training takes place online or in person.
Please arrive on time or early and be ready to learn at the start of each session. For many programs, trainees are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes early to get settled and prepared.
If an unexpected situation may cause you to miss a class or arrive late, contact your instructor or program team as soon as possible. We understand that life happens, and communicating early can help you stay on track.
