As the ON-RAMP Workforce Enrollment and Trainee Success Coordinator, Kadashea Smith brings more than a decade of nonprofit experience and a strong commitment to community engagement, program development, and economic inclusion. In her role, Kadashea coordinates and supports workforce programs that serve diverse and underrepresented communities, connecting individuals to opportunities in high-demand industries such as advanced manufacturing and construction. Her experience in developing and improving programs reflects her passion for creating pathways to economic opportunity and strengthening communities throughout Central New York.

Before joining ON-RAMP, Kadashea built a career in the nonprofit sector, focusing on program development, improvement and community-centered initiatives. She currently serves on the board of Families for Lead Freedom Now and remains actively involved with community organizations advancing social justice and economic inclusion. Her leadership is grounded in a dedication to empowering individuals, expanding access to opportunity, and helping build a more inclusive and skilled regional workforce.
